Token Institute Inc.

The Token Institute is a year round nonprofit cultural and educational organization ensuring technology expands what it means to tell human stories. We aim to create a space where artists and technologists shape the role of AI in movie making —through bold experimentation, critical dialogue, and new forms of cinematic expression.

Land Acknowledgement: The Token Film Festival takes place on the ancestral homelands of the Potawatomi, Odawa, Ojibwe, Miami, and Ho‑Chunk peoples, who have lived on and cared for this land for generations. As we explore emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, it is especially important to acknowledge the land and the histories embedded within it. Technological futures are built in physical places, and recognizing whose land we occupy reminds us that innovation should move forward with awareness, respect, and responsibility.
